Do you like them? I hope the ones I got fit. Since my head is so big, I had to get one two sizes up from the sample ones I tried on. And I hope they don't look too weird with my thicker lenses...Anyway, onto Wednesday. So I went to NYC for the day with my Ate and Ate Malou. Boy, was it an eventful day. We got up at 8am and got ready and left. We took the PATH train to 42nd and got in line for TKTS, but since we wanted an 8pm show, we came back later since it was still early. So we went to go eat at Maxi's. Really good food. Even though it's expensive, you definitely get what you pay for. The portions are big. Wowza. So after we ate, we went back in line for TKTS and it was ordered until they let us loose in the booth area. It was like every man for himself. We ended up getting tickets for Mary Poppins, which by the way, was REALLY GOOD! I loved it! supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Haha. So we got those tickets 50% off, which was a good deal, and we had some great seats even though they were on the side. After we got the tickets, we had coffee and dessert at Junior's, which you can see in one of my previous posts (just scroll down). It was soo good. I didn't get to finish it because I felt like I was going to explode! I loved it.

Then we traveled to Macy's, where by chance, we got to meet Eli Manning! It was exciting. However, all we did was shake his hand, say a few words. We weren't allowed to take any pictures with him. They just gave us a "presigned photograph" of him. The photos were obviously mass produced, but oh well. It was pretty cool. He was doing some promotion thing with Citizen Watch and it's Eco-Drive.

Afterwards we had some time, so we headed to a couple of stores near the New Amsterdam Theater, where Mary Poppins was showing. I finally got a skinny black tie from H&M. I wanted other things, but I really wish I was skinny so I could wear all the things I wanted. I also got some pretty nice sneakers from Skechers. **Sorry I just tried to find the picture off the website but couldn't find it, and I'm too lazy to snap a photo myself of the actual show. Maybe I will later. But yeah they're really cool. It's black, white and red. So I got those.
Then we went to see the show and after just took the PATH back to Pavonia and drove back to Ate Malou's house. A long, but adventurous and eventful day.
And today, we went to go visit my parents at Atlantic City at Showboat. My sister and I walked the boardwalk some, and then hit up the outlet stores. I got my two for $5 Old Navy flipflops, colors gray and brown. I also got some nice $15 jeans at Aeropastale. My other jeans are starting to get a hole on the inside of my right thigh :( Oh well.
And now here I am, doing my laundry, because tomorrow I'm going to have to do some work. I have to hit up the group project work I have on OxyContin, as well as process my FAFSA because my dad told me not to do it yet because he needs to finish doing some figures. Ugh.
Anyway, break is almost over and I can't believe it. It definitely does not feel like I had a break though. I wish we had another week. But alas, I have to go back to school and hit up them books. Grrrrreeeat.
