Life is good right now. :)
Classes are going good. Although I wish I was doing excellent. I hope that after this semester my GPA raises.
I want to purchase the Rosetta Stone program: Tagalog. So I can actually learn my native language. Hah. I so wish I could just speak and understand it but not seem like I would be when I talk English. Get what I mean? Eh. I want to go to the PI for a couple months. I'm sure I'll learn it by living there. It's inevitable.
But anyway, in another aspect of life, I am really happy right now.... oh, how happy I am.
The whole youtube thing is slowly getting done. And I mean slowly. Me and Sharon made a video, but I have to edit it though.
Okay must sleep.

Lovely, it's 4:30am and I'm still up.
Ugh. So it's 4:30am. Well, it would be 3:30am only if it were not for daylight savings time. Whatever. So the Academy Bus leaves here at 7:30am. I want to be awake by 6 or 6:30am so I am up and ready and everything. I basically hate taking the bus, but it is the most convenient way for both me and my parents. If I flew, someone would have to go to Philly to pick me up, whereas the bus terminal is simply a 5 minute drive from my house. Whatever, I spend 7 hours traveling, so they would not have to spend 40 minutes driving to and fro. ??? Whatever.
I'm glad to be going back to Boston. I simply CANNOT wait. Friday night I was looking at the schedules so that I might leave today, technically yesterday (Saturday, I mean). But lo and behold, I'm leaving in a couple hours (Sunday). Hopefully I'll get to Boston by 2, 2:30pm-ish. That way I can unpack and start cracking at my work again. Ugh. I simply need to get back into the groove and just get as much done as possible tomorrow, considering I basically got nothing done over this break.
I also hate how everyone's break is THIS coming week. It's lovely.
No, it pisses me off.
I shouldn't have come home. What I should have done was stay in Boston. I would have gotten so much more work done then, being all alone and in a quiet work-worthy environment. Damn it.
Or, I should have gone to Tampa with Sharon to share in the Habitat for Humanity experience. Whatever. Maybe next year. We'll see. I actually want to go somewhere next year. Somewhere BEACHY or FLORIDA? Walt Disney World? I am soo up for that place right now.
Really, I want to go back to Disney World. When I went there for Senior Trip, it was basically one of the few greatest times of my life. It was probably because it was like the first real vacation I have ever been on. I do not count spending 2-3 days in Atlantic City with my parents a vacation. All we do is roam the boring boardwalk or the beach. Not so much fun.
So I don't know if I'm going to go to bed. It is now 4:38am. I might just stay up and actually start reading this book that I need to get done so I can write my book review. Sucks. Hopefully I can get a lot of it read on the bus rides tomorrow. It's only a little bit over 200 pages. However, the thought of writing this book review does not excite me. I also need to start my 10 page research paper, which my professor will probably ask for a draft this coming week. Ugh. Looks like I'm going to have to go into super academia mode. Yay.
Well I found a really awesome song by Forever Thursday called "How Can It Be?" It is quite delightful. Go to http://www.myspace.com/foreverthursdaymusic to listen to it. It's used in the "Calendar" JC Penney commercial, and I simply fell in love with the song.
Well, to anyone reading this that has spring break this week, have an awesome time. I'll be studying it up and whatnot while everyone else is in exotic, beachy, sunny, awesome-weather places.
I wish I could go on a real vacation. Hawaii? Florida? Someplace sunny and beachy. I want to go to the beach right now and just lay in the sun. Without the drones and crowds of people.
I also recently posted two vlogs on youtube. Find it. It shouldn't be that hard.
However, I am tired. I think I'll go nap it. I only have an hour. Bye.

Health, Fitness, and Obesity Surgery
Today I was pretty healthy I guess. I watched what I ate, drank a lot of water, and ran twice on the treadmill. I ran around 1 or 2pm, and then at 8:15pm again. So I'm looking to continue this the whole week before I go back to Boston, so I'll be motivated to get up and go to the gym before classes and run my fat ass on those treadmills.
So anyway I found this article on CNN.com, "Obesity surgery triples among U.S. teens" and I read through it and such. Seems that more teens are getting gastric bypass surgeries and the like than adults. However, it also says that studies show that there are less risks, complications, length of stays in hospital, all of which lead to less overall cost of everything totaled. I don't know how I feel about gastric bypass. Obviously I think it should be the last-last-last-last resort to anyone if anything else really does not work. But I believe that for some people it really is their only hope. Eh. I hope I never have to do anything like that. I want to be skinny by summertime. That gives me a couple months to reach my goal. Here's to me sticking to it.

Now that I'm home...
So I got home from Boston yesterday evening around 6:30. I left my Dorm a little after 10am and caught the 11:30 bus from South Station to New York. I got to Port Authority around 4pm, but the next Academy Bus to Westampton wasn't going to leave until 5pm, so I just waited by the gate until boarding started. Those LCD scrolling screens said that there was filming in progress around Port Authority that involved fake explosions and fake guns... I wonder which film it is. Hmm. Ha, wouldn't it have been great if i was asked to be an extra last-minute? Lol. I don't know how they do it, but that would've been awesome.
Anyway, I went shopping today at Marshall's, Sears, and Macy's to get some nice dress clothes for the future. My current dress black pants are too big :( so I got nice fitting pants. Except I need to lose weight - my ass is so big, I hate it. I really do. I'm going to start running tomorrow and hopefully by the end of the week I'll have some sort of change, or at least motivation to go run when I'm up at school.
I need to start getting more dress and casual clothes for when I have to start dressing professionally. Now all I need is a good jacket/blazer with real pockets that fits me well. I just need to lose weight.
I guess this turned into a whole body image entry. Eh. Well, I'm excited to run tomorrow and to start getting all my freaking homework done. Whoop de DOO.
Peace, love, and plutonium.

Two Tests Down, A Boy Criticized For Being Smart?
Here I am, Wednesday night (technically Thursday early morning already) in my 5th floor student lounge of the lovely Matricaria Hall at MCPHS Boston. I have two tests down this week and have two more to go. Tomorrow it is my Drugs & Behavior midterm. On Friday I have statistics exam #1. Then it's the Brown Sugar Cafe on Friday night with Sharon for some Thai food. Then on Saturday morning, it's off for New Jersey for Spring Break. Woot.
So I've been trying to go to CNN.com to be more aware of the news. This morning or yesterday, I don't remember, there was a story about a teen who was being criticized and even beat up for getting a scholarship to a prestigious high school in NYC. (It was either NYC or the Bronx.) It was his friends from the Bronx who made fun of him. I don't think that's right at all. He is the one who's striving to be the best to be able to have a good future, to be a good role model for his little brother. I just think that kids these days are becoming more immature and juvenile. It seems that they are regressing, instead of progressing towards something better, for it seems that they should be due to all this new found technology and convenience that we have. However, it seems that it is simply doing just the opposite. More and more younger children are becoming addicted to video games, computers, cell phones, MySpace. Eh. Just some of my thoughts.
Update later when I am home in NEW JERSEY.
