It's Official

I am leaving very soon.
I cannot wait.

I'm not looking forward to any traffic or whatnot.
I hope everyone moved in earlier instead of when I get there. I hope.

Laters.

Going to Sleep...

So I am quite literally sitting on my floor typing this on my laptop, ready to sleep. I disassembled my bed, so tonight I am sleeping on my floor. Everything is not quite packed up yet, but tomorrow is the last chance, so I'll have to finish everything. We are also getting the U-Haul tomorrow, so then I can pack that up and all. I am really sleepy. I am just typing this with my eyes closed b/c I am about to be knocked out. Well good night.

BTW I want to see that Rob Zombie remake of Halloween. Even though the 1st and original is probably the best and can never be outshone.

MM HMM girlfriend.

My Last Day is Tomorrow!

THANK THE LORD!

My last day at Quiznos Sub is tomorrow! Too bad I'm working from 8-4. So it sucks because it's all day. And I have to work with this new girl... she's... alright. EH. I'll keep my opinions to myself. But anyway, everyone good for the morning crew is leaving. So I don't know how it's going to go down next week when none of us are there. Whatevs.

Well anyway, I should get ready for bed. I actually need to wake up early tomorrow. FUN. I leave you with a picture from me and Heather's short trip to Boston, with the Wilks brothers. How cute, huh?

I Apologize...

...For yesterday's entry. It's my way of venting. But I was pissed off yesterday.

And I'd like to point out another thing - later on, it's like nothing happened. I hate that. There's no resolution or anything. It's like the ending of the book was cut off and we're left with a pile of problems that just stack up. Whatever, good for you those who got that metaphor thing ish.

Anyway, it's another entry about my impatience to move in! Here's a sneak pic. It's the view of my kitchen from the other side, by the window. Where I'm standing is where my bar table will go. And that's Heather standing in the doorway. The current tenant is still living there, hence all the stuff.

This is my shelving unit that I got at Ikea. It's made by Enetri. The metal part I got is silver, and the boards are white.

This is the chest of drawers that I also got form Ikea. It's made by Hemnes. Except that they're not selling it anymore. Good thing I got it when it was on sale
(which is why they put it on sale). Haha.

This is the bar table I got, made by Bjorkudden. It's pretty sweet. And tall/high. Which is what I like. It's going to go in my kitchen.

And to accompany my pretty table, I got two of these stools made by Anssi. I cannot freaking wait to move in!!! Less than a week...

Feeling Better, However, I Don't Want to Go to WORK.

I'm working 4-close today. And I don't want to go. I just want to stay home and actually clean and pack. In the past ten minutes I've made more progress than I have in the past couple of days. Hah. Which means I'm on a roll! But oh well. I'm working at 4. I also don't want to go because of the guy I'm going to be working with. The other guy I'll be working with is cool. The other, not so much.

So look what I found on the outside of my window screen earlier. It was cool. I got some other shots, but this is the best one. I'm glad I got some shots because after I was all done and satisfied, it flew away.

I made a short vlog on youtube. Its basically me whining about going back to Boston already. Why can't it just be now? Sharon went back today. Other people are already back. My other friends are already back at school. Ugh. New Jersey is dunzo. I'm such a city boy.

Well I'm going to get back to cleaning... before I have to go back to work.

And the Boys Like Girls album is soo on heavy repeat right now. It's basically the only thing I've been listening to these past couple of days... besides Vanessa Carlton's Harmonium, which is also such a great album! Listen to both. It'll change your life.

Fuck This Shit

I fucking hate my brother.

He's going to end up hitting his kids.

Maybe that's harsh, but it may or may not be true. I don't know.

Right now I just wish I could close my eyes and when I opened them I was in my apartment, everything unpacked, all my furniture set up, all the business stuff done and setup, and no one else but me. I wish I was in Boston right now. I wish I wish I wish I wish.

But where has wishing gotten anyone? No where. People can wish and pray all they want, but it's not going to help anymore than they want it to. All it does is give the person wishing or praying a sound mind for themselves. Reassurance and hope. Oh well. I don't believe in that.

Ugh fuck this shit, moving back is LONG fucking overdue.

You Know That End-of-Summer-Going-Back-to-School Feeling?

Yes, everyone, it is almost time for summer 2007 to come to a close. I move into my apartment on the 2nd of September and I simply cannot wait. I am literally itching to move in. For weeks it's all I can think about. Haha. I just want to go back to Boston and get away again. And this time, I'll be living by myself.

This is the Real World: Adrian.

Haha.

I have lots of stuff to bring, but am not quite prepared. I still have a week and several days before moving. So I still have to pack my clothes and other miscellaneous junk. All the stuff from Ikea is still in their respective boxes, unopened. I hope everything is okay. Now the task is transporting everything in this U-Haul that we will be renting. Oh joy.

On Thursday, Aug 16- Saturday Aug 18 I was in Boston with Heather. I loved it. We stayed with Matt. It was so awesome and nice of him to let us crash at his place. We had a lot of fun. I did not want to come back here. I really didn't. The city is my home. Again, can you see my anxiousness/impatient self coming through? I love Boston, that's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it.

I got the Boys Like Girls album the other day and I love it. I wish I could sing a little higher so I could sing that part in the Great Escape and Hero/Heroine. I can sing it, but not as loud. And I squeak. Doesn't sound as good as I'd like. Hah.

There are still two things looming over my head now. But I guess I'm only writing it here for my own purposes to look at later.
1. Look for another class because effing MCP decided to drop everyone and their mother from Health Care Management.
2. Apply for Pharm Tech Positions to work during the school year.
3. Complete MA Pharmacy Intern Registration when back in school.

Okay. Now that that's out of the way.

I feel that this year will be awesome.
Excellent even.

I feel like I've changed so much since I've been away at college and in the city. But changed for the better. Not that I wasn't bad or anything. I guess I mean I've improved on my character skills? I don't know. However, I still feel like I have a lot to experience and learn, so I also feel that I can still change.

And I'm in freaking Boston. I need to go out and meet guys and people. I mean, I'm starting to think I'm not that ugly. There are worse looking people out there than me, right? (Whatever helps you, man.) So I plan on meeting anyone and everyone. Be prepared.

I also finally bought the movie Dummy. I simply LOVE this movie. I can watch it over and over and over again. If you haven't seen it, I suggest go buying it at Target right now. I bought my copy for $8.00(US). Mhmm. Right price everyone.

Alright, well I need to go attempt to clean again. It's not going to happen.

Oh and PS. I'm working until the 30th folks. They're squeezing every last of my skill(z) before I leave. Because I'm that good. I guess I shouldn't be that proud of making sandwiches at a Quiznos Sub franchise, huh? It'd be better if it was a famous deli shop or something. Then I think I could say it with better pride. No offense to Quiznos Sub employees. Working there is not bad at all. I like working there actually. I just hate closing. For really real.

Goodnight.

Oh Love...

Lordy Lord, I hate watching romantic movies but I do love them. I hate watching because then it only makes me wish I had that. I'm such a hopeless romantic. It's so sad. Yeah I just watched Adam & Steve. It was a good movie... I wish I had a guy.

Anyway, I can keep those sob stories and thoughts to myself. Let me tell you about what I've been doing.

So yesterday, I stayed over in Atlantic City with my family and Monette. It was good times. We mainly boardwalked it. Yup. Went to the new Pier Shops area or whatever it's called. Some nice stores in there... there's an Apple Store! How awesome?! Haha, I'm such a dork. Well yeah we came back today and such and then we picked up Mariel and then headed to the movies to watch an effed up movie, Mr. Brooks. Hah it was good, but seriously crazy. I recommend it if you like thrillers/suspense/WEIRD movies. Like me. Hah.

So tomorrow I work from 10-4 and then after it's the Two Hearts thing at Sacred Heart. Yeah. I have to wear red.

Which brings me to the "I HATE BEING FAT" point of the entry. Haha. You knew it was coming. Ugh I really wish I was skinny. Maybe then I'd have a better chance to find someone. Whatever, I just need to keep on at it and really commit. I need to change before I go back to Boston. There are some hot guys in the city, LOL.

So after the movies, I hung out with Jackie. We went to the Burl Co Lib to watch the Swan Lake performance in the ampitheater... except it was moved inside for some reason? I didn't catch the reason why. But it was nice. Lots of elderly enjoying the two hot young guys and three hot girls. Haha. Yeah.

Then we hit up the DVDs and I got some movies, including Adam & Steve. I was lucky to find it. I'm adding it to my collection, if you know what I mean. Yeah. ;D

And then we headed to the Burlington Center, walked around for a couple, then went to Wawa for some F'REAL! milkshakes. YUM.

Sweet.

Damn I wish I was skinny.

Anyway, just a quick update before I head off to bed, I need sleep...

And I just wanted to say, I'm glad I'm working. No more of these really late nights (i.e. 4am) doing absolutely nothing. I have reason to sleep, haha, which is good. Working at the Q! really isn't that bad. I just wish I knew how much I was being paid, and when I'll be getting my first paycheck. Maybe I'll ask tomorrow. Yeah. And I definitely think I like the morning shift better than nighttime/close shift. Mmhmm.

Goodnight, I'm going to try and clean my room before I head to bed.

And I have another unrealistic "want." Leopard comes out in October, so I want to try and get a Mac over winter break of next year. Yeah I know, it'll never happen. I just wish.

I also need to keep in mind that I need to find a job in Boston, preferably a PHARMACY TECH job so I can start doing my internship hours - which reminds me I need to register... Bleh.

I'll leave you with the John Lennon song...

"Love is real, real is love,
Love is feeling, feeling love,
Love is wanting to be loved.
Love is touch, touch is love,
Love is reaching, reaching love,
Love is asking to be loved."

Goodnight!

Lovely, it's 4:30am and I'm still up.

Ugh. So it's 4:30am. Well, it would be 3:30am only if it were not for daylight savings time. Whatever. So the Academy Bus leaves here at 7:30am. I want to be awake by 6 or 6:30am so I am up and ready and everything. I basically hate taking the bus, but it is the most convenient way for both me and my parents. If I flew, someone would have to go to Philly to pick me up, whereas the bus terminal is simply a 5 minute drive from my house. Whatever, I spend 7 hours traveling, so they would not have to spend 40 minutes driving to and fro. ??? Whatever.

I'm glad to be going back to Boston. I simply CANNOT wait. Friday night I was looking at the schedules so that I might leave today, technically yesterday (Saturday, I mean). But lo and behold, I'm leaving in a couple hours (Sunday). Hopefully I'll get to Boston by 2, 2:30pm-ish. That way I can unpack and start cracking at my work again. Ugh. I simply need to get back into the groove and just get as much done as possible tomorrow, considering I basically got nothing done over this break.

I also hate how everyone's break is THIS coming week. It's lovely.
No, it pisses me off.

I shouldn't have come home. What I should have done was stay in Boston. I would have gotten so much more work done then, being all alone and in a quiet work-worthy environment. Damn it.

Or, I should have gone to Tampa with Sharon to share in the Habitat for Humanity experience. Whatever. Maybe next year. We'll see. I actually want to go somewhere next year. Somewhere BEACHY or FLORIDA? Walt Disney World? I am soo up for that place right now.

Really, I want to go back to Disney World. When I went there for Senior Trip, it was basically one of the few greatest times of my life. It was probably because it was like the first real vacation I have ever been on. I do not count spending 2-3 days in Atlantic City with my parents a vacation. All we do is roam the boring boardwalk or the beach. Not so much fun.

So I don't know if I'm going to go to bed. It is now 4:38am. I might just stay up and actually start reading this book that I need to get done so I can write my book review. Sucks. Hopefully I can get a lot of it read on the bus rides tomorrow. It's only a little bit over 200 pages. However, the thought of writing this book review does not excite me. I also need to start my 10 page research paper, which my professor will probably ask for a draft this coming week. Ugh. Looks like I'm going to have to go into super academia mode. Yay.

Well I found a really awesome song by Forever Thursday called "How Can It Be?" It is quite delightful. Go to http://www.myspace.com/foreverthursdaymusic to listen to it. It's used in the "Calendar" JC Penney commercial, and I simply fell in love with the song.

Well, to anyone reading this that has spring break this week, have an awesome time. I'll be studying it up and whatnot while everyone else is in exotic, beachy, sunny, awesome-weather places.

I wish I could go on a real vacation. Hawaii? Florida? Someplace sunny and beachy. I want to go to the beach right now and just lay in the sun. Without the drones and crowds of people.

I also recently posted two vlogs on youtube. Find it. It shouldn't be that hard.

However, I am tired. I think I'll go nap it. I only have an hour. Bye.
