I am having a great time.

Life is good right now. :)

Classes are going good. Although I wish I was doing excellent. I hope that after this semester my GPA raises.

I want to purchase the Rosetta Stone program: Tagalog. So I can actually learn my native language. Hah. I so wish I could just speak and understand it but not seem like I would be when I talk English. Get what I mean? Eh. I want to go to the PI for a couple months. I'm sure I'll learn it by living there. It's inevitable.

But anyway, in another aspect of life, I am really happy right now.... oh, how happy I am.

The whole youtube thing is slowly getting done. And I mean slowly. Me and Sharon made a video, but I have to edit it though.

Okay must sleep.

:)

Lovely, it's 4:30am and I'm still up.

Ugh. So it's 4:30am. Well, it would be 3:30am only if it were not for daylight savings time. Whatever. So the Academy Bus leaves here at 7:30am. I want to be awake by 6 or 6:30am so I am up and ready and everything. I basically hate taking the bus, but it is the most convenient way for both me and my parents. If I flew, someone would have to go to Philly to pick me up, whereas the bus terminal is simply a 5 minute drive from my house. Whatever, I spend 7 hours traveling, so they would not have to spend 40 minutes driving to and fro. ??? Whatever.

I'm glad to be going back to Boston. I simply CANNOT wait. Friday night I was looking at the schedules so that I might leave today, technically yesterday (Saturday, I mean). But lo and behold, I'm leaving in a couple hours (Sunday). Hopefully I'll get to Boston by 2, 2:30pm-ish. That way I can unpack and start cracking at my work again. Ugh. I simply need to get back into the groove and just get as much done as possible tomorrow, considering I basically got nothing done over this break.

I also hate how everyone's break is THIS coming week. It's lovely.
No, it pisses me off.

I shouldn't have come home. What I should have done was stay in Boston. I would have gotten so much more work done then, being all alone and in a quiet work-worthy environment. Damn it.

Or, I should have gone to Tampa with Sharon to share in the Habitat for Humanity experience. Whatever. Maybe next year. We'll see. I actually want to go somewhere next year. Somewhere BEACHY or FLORIDA? Walt Disney World? I am soo up for that place right now.

Really, I want to go back to Disney World. When I went there for Senior Trip, it was basically one of the few greatest times of my life. It was probably because it was like the first real vacation I have ever been on. I do not count spending 2-3 days in Atlantic City with my parents a vacation. All we do is roam the boring boardwalk or the beach. Not so much fun.

So I don't know if I'm going to go to bed. It is now 4:38am. I might just stay up and actually start reading this book that I need to get done so I can write my book review. Sucks. Hopefully I can get a lot of it read on the bus rides tomorrow. It's only a little bit over 200 pages. However, the thought of writing this book review does not excite me. I also need to start my 10 page research paper, which my professor will probably ask for a draft this coming week. Ugh. Looks like I'm going to have to go into super academia mode. Yay.

Well I found a really awesome song by Forever Thursday called "How Can It Be?" It is quite delightful. Go to http://www.myspace.com/foreverthursdaymusic to listen to it. It's used in the "Calendar" JC Penney commercial, and I simply fell in love with the song.

Well, to anyone reading this that has spring break this week, have an awesome time. I'll be studying it up and whatnot while everyone else is in exotic, beachy, sunny, awesome-weather places.

I wish I could go on a real vacation. Hawaii? Florida? Someplace sunny and beachy. I want to go to the beach right now and just lay in the sun. Without the drones and crowds of people.

I also recently posted two vlogs on youtube. Find it. It shouldn't be that hard.

However, I am tired. I think I'll go nap it. I only have an hour. Bye.

Health, Fitness, and Obesity Surgery

Today I was pretty healthy I guess. I watched what I ate, drank a lot of water, and ran twice on the treadmill. I ran around 1 or 2pm, and then at 8:15pm again. So I'm looking to continue this the whole week before I go back to Boston, so I'll be motivated to get up and go to the gym before classes and run my fat ass on those treadmills.

So anyway I found this article on CNN.com, "Obesity surgery triples among U.S. teens" and I read through it and such. Seems that more teens are getting gastric bypass surgeries and the like than adults. However, it also says that studies show that there are less risks, complications, length of stays in hospital, all of which lead to less overall cost of everything totaled. I don't know how I feel about gastric bypass. Obviously I think it should be the last-last-last-last resort to anyone if anything else really does not work. But I believe that for some people it really is their only hope. Eh. I hope I never have to do anything like that. I want to be skinny by summertime. That gives me a couple months to reach my goal. Here's to me sticking to it.

Now that I'm home...

So I got home from Boston yesterday evening around 6:30. I left my Dorm a little after 10am and caught the 11:30 bus from South Station to New York. I got to Port Authority around 4pm, but the next Academy Bus to Westampton wasn't going to leave until 5pm, so I just waited by the gate until boarding started. Those LCD scrolling screens said that there was filming in progress around Port Authority that involved fake explosions and fake guns... I wonder which film it is. Hmm. Ha, wouldn't it have been great if i was asked to be an extra last-minute? Lol. I don't know how they do it, but that would've been awesome.

Anyway, I went shopping today at Marshall's, Sears, and Macy's to get some nice dress clothes for the future. My current dress black pants are too big :( so I got nice fitting pants. Except I need to lose weight - my ass is so big, I hate it. I really do. I'm going to start running tomorrow and hopefully by the end of the week I'll have some sort of change, or at least motivation to go run when I'm up at school.

I need to start getting more dress and casual clothes for when I have to start dressing professionally. Now all I need is a good jacket/blazer with real pockets that fits me well. I just need to lose weight.

I guess this turned into a whole body image entry. Eh. Well, I'm excited to run tomorrow and to start getting all my freaking homework done. Whoop de DOO.

Peace, love, and plutonium.

Two Tests Down, A Boy Criticized For Being Smart?

Here I am, Wednesday night (technically Thursday early morning already) in my 5th floor student lounge of the lovely Matricaria Hall at MCPHS Boston. I have two tests down this week and have two more to go. Tomorrow it is my Drugs & Behavior midterm. On Friday I have statistics exam #1. Then it's the Brown Sugar Cafe on Friday night with Sharon for some Thai food. Then on Saturday morning, it's off for New Jersey for Spring Break. Woot.

So I've been trying to go to CNN.com to be more aware of the news. This morning or yesterday, I don't remember, there was a story about a teen who was being criticized and even beat up for getting a scholarship to a prestigious high school in NYC. (It was either NYC or the Bronx.) It was his friends from the Bronx who made fun of him. I don't think that's right at all. He is the one who's striving to be the best to be able to have a good future, to be a good role model for his little brother. I just think that kids these days are becoming more immature and juvenile. It seems that they are regressing, instead of progressing towards something better, for it seems that they should be due to all this new found technology and convenience that we have. However, it seems that it is simply doing just the opposite. More and more younger children are becoming addicted to video games, computers, cell phones, MySpace. Eh. Just some of my thoughts.

Update later when I am home in NEW JERSEY.

So I've Moved...

So I've moved from livejournal.com to here, obviously. I cleverly used LinuxLore's awesome tool to migrate my livejournal entries to here. I like this better. And I hope I can write more and share more of my thoughts on things on here... except that probably will not happen this week.

It is currently Monday morning and I woke up to a mass of snow falling to the earth. I do not know when it started, but it's currently 10:39 and it is still falling. Salman thinks that school will closed tomorrow. However, I doubt that that will happen, due to the many tests our beloved MCP professors have pinned on us this week. I currently have four exams, one each day, starting tomorrow: two midterms and two regular exams. I love it (that's sarcasm...). There's just so much studying to do and so little time. My Women In History midterm is tomorrow, Orgo Exam #2 Wednesday, Drugs & Behavior midterm on Thursday, and my Statistics Exam #1 is on Friday. Whoopee!

So now I'm going to get back to studying before I have Orgo class at 12pm. And I need to buy my bus ticket home... except I don't know if I should leave on Saturday or Sunday. Hmm. I'll probably leave Saturday morning. Or I could go to Tampa with Habitat For Humanity with Sharon. I always did want to go and help out for a good cause. It's short notice though... we'll see what happens by the end of the day.

OH and so by the way, my two good friends, Sharon and Hilary, are all finished pledging for AZO. However, I don't know what is going to happen to our relationships as friends. I feel I'm going to get second hand all the time now. I guess that's life then, huh?

Okay, well enough blabbing. I must get back to studying. Oh, and I wish I had a camera or something. I would really like to post some videos on YouTube and actually start using my account. Meh, I guess that'll happen when I get my MacBook... which is in the distant future.

Short update...

So I'm sitting here in my room. And I believe the Super Bowl has just started. Except I'm not watching it. Obviously... sorry, but my interest in football is still the same. I'd watch it only for the half time show and commercials. But it's not like I'm missing out on anything. I watch my shows online now because I can't watch them the scheduled time because I'm doing work or studying.

Which gets me to my other point... I'm studying for my first big orgo exam tomorrow! I'm scared... I need to do well, like I said before, I want a great GPA this semester. So yeah.

So this week is: Orgo test, chorus, call from Realtor hopefully, Women in History essay due, Europe homework (UGH), and studying more and more. I need to start my oral presentation, research for my PAE for HCD, and start reading my book for Europe's book review and my research paper.

Ugh okay, later, I'm going to Simmon's library to study w/ Brigitte. And I want some chocolate. Or something. Meh. I'm a fatty.

Tuesday, January 30, 2007

Mehhhhh.

So I'm sitting here, eating my spanish rice. Yum.

Except right after I'm done I need to go do homework and study and everything else school-invovled.

I have a Statistics quiz tomorrow. I need to get a 100. I want a 4.0 this semester... or close to it. I need to bring up my shitty GPA.

I need to start working on my Women In History oral presentation on Ella Fitzgerald.

I need to start doing research on my Policy Analysis Exercise for Health Care Delivery.

I need to read for my Europe class and get those posts done online.

I need to start reading this 25 dollar book that I just bought at Harvard COOP for that book review in that class.

I need to start doing my research paper for that class as well.

I need to start my essay for Women In History.

I need to study for Organic Chem b/c I have a BIG exam this coming Monday.

I need to buy more Wound Wash Saline for my ear. :\

I need to finish my Drugs & Behavior paper.

I need to find music to do for this a cappella group that I'm starting.

I need to get down to business.

AND I need to freaking NOT be SICK ANYMORE :(

Sunday, January 21, 2007

One week passed.

So it's been about one week since I've been back at school. And I freakin' have had soo much reading. I'm taking six (6) classes.

Women in History
Drugs & Behavior
Europe in the 20th Century
Introduction to Health Care Delivery
Organic Chem II
Statistics

The first three are electives and require a lot of reading. There's also a lot of reading in Health Care Delivery and Organic Chem II. A lot of reading. Man.

So yeah. I really need to keep up with the reading.

I'm also waiting for my Women in History book, which my family sent to me. So hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.
And tomorrow, I'll be waiting for a call from the realtor to tell me if they got my deposit or not, and thus if I got the apartment as well. Hopefully. As I've recently written, this is why the prospect of having my own apartment just keeps getting better and better.

Some roommate stuffs are just getting a bit annoying than they ever were before. And this is with Salman, unfortunately. Ehh, I'll just have to deal with it. I have a nice studio apt. all to myself to look forward to next year. Hoorah.

Ehh. Another long week of school is ahead. Chorus starts tomorrow. Work and orchestra will start soon as well. Thank God my schedule is so banging. Hah. Which means I will have to study in the morning before class. Yay.

Okay. I'm going. Need to go read more.

Tuesday, January 16, 2007

woop.

Even though no one reads this, I'm going to start writing in this again. I'd like to think that someone would at least glance at it. Haha. I feel like I need to just write, keep my mind productive, when I'm not studying and reading my ass off. This semester is going to be a dooze(sp?) Boy, is my plate full. At least I found a great studio apartment (doesn't come cheap) for next year! And the realtor guy was cute too, haha. Well, I'll keep everyone me posted. Bwahaha.

Friday, November 17, 2006

hmm

Yeah, no one reads this anymore.

dunzo.

Thursday, November 16, 2006

Ugh. Including tomorrow, 5 more BUSY days.

So yeah. These past couple days, and including the days ahead are BUSY BUSY, up until I leave for home on Tuesday.

So I need to do my World Lit paper, do my Physics Lab for Monday morning, and hardcore hardcore study for the Orgo exam Monday. Today, I had my Microbio exam. It wasn't that bad. Thank God I had those tests. They really helped. And like I said before, I really need a good grade. Because Microbio has been kicking my ass. So yeah.

I'm getting ready for the Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra Concert tonight.

After that, I'm coming back here to try and get most of my World Lit paper done. Because there is soo much Orgo to study, and I've barely touched it (because it's been Microbio all week). Ugh. And all day Saturday, I'm going to NYC to watch Chicago (w/ the MCPHS Arts & Lits Club). We're leaving here at 6am. So yeah, early night friday. And we're leaving NYC at about 8pm, so we'll get back here around 1am? So on the bus ride there, I'm going to be studying Orgo, or doing my paper. I'm only bringing a couple things because I sure as hell do not want to be carrying my books all around NYC the enitre day. So yeah.

I'm coming home Tuesday after my classes. I'll be home by 11pm. Hopefully.

Oh and I accidently stuck myself w/ the ether syringe in orgo lab today. Yeah.

Hopefully I won't die.

Peace.

Sunday, November 5, 2006

blahh di da...

Gah. These past couple of weeks have been tiring. College is fucking hard, let me say that. And bad suitemates don't make it any better.

So yeah, every week there is always like an exam or something big due. But this week, there isn't! Except for an economics quiz due Friday... but that should be fine. Otherwise, after this week, theres an exam every week until finals. And then finals. Oh man. I should really start studying for finals now, especially for Microbiology, because I am really not doing so hot in micro. I don't want my GPA to go lower than my minimum GPA, because then I will lose my scholarship. And no one wants that happening. Hopefully I'll actually get A's or at least even A-'s this semester and it'll "cancel" out the bad micro grade. Gah. I was really considering dropping it and taking it in the Spring or even summer. But then that conflicts with everything else. I'll have to make sure I find an apartment soon, and a job around here (if i were to take it in the summer). If I were to take it in the Spring, I'd have to drop an elective, and then take something in the summer back at home somewhere, depending on what I want to take for my required courses. Ugh. So yeah. I'm just going to stick it out. Hopefully it won't be bad. I don't know what's wrong with me and micro...

Well the suitemate situation seems to get worse. Both Ben and Jason can be assholes. But Ben seems to be the bigger asshole. Jason just needs to learn to grow up in a world that doesn't revolve around him, and Ben needs to become a lot more open-minded. Whatever, it's not my place to say. Or maybe it is, I am their suitemates, and is there responsibilty for me to try and help? Hmm.

Well I do think Ben is an asshole. He's ridiculous. He'll just shout, "FUCKING NIGGERS." He, however, is not racist, for he has many black friends, listens to rap music, and watches a lot of sports. A LOT of sports. That ass never turns off the sports. Shit, it's my TV and all he does is watch sports. I'm tired of the fucking announcers and their whistles and the crowd. And the damn intro music (which Ben was playing on his computer on REPEAT. Who does that? Please tell me.) Ugh.

So the weekend before Halloween, Friday to be exact, I went to a Halloween party and got crunked. I dressed up as Brandon from the "But It's Better If You Do" video. It was an alright attempt. If you want to see, I'll show you. So yeah, I had fun, and I got crunked because I wanted to forget about Micro. Yeah. That was the last time I partied though.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to go home and see everyone. I want to go to RV and visit Mrs. Chait. It'll be a year exactly since I saw her, because last year I went to visit her during Thanksgiving break. That was the last time I went to RV. I'm excited to talk to her about my World Literature class, lol. Yeah, I'm a dork. I'm only excited because I've changed since leaving high school. And by that, I mean I've changed my study/homework habits. Which should've happened during high school, not 2nd year of college. Oh well. I do regret slacking off in high school. I wish I didn't. I wish I was smart and that I actually did my homework at home and not during tutorial. Damn was I a bad student. Shit. It's crazy because all these freshman used their AP credits to get out of classes like Statistics and Psychology. I didn't even take those classes. Whatever, my school needs a 4 or 5 for AP Credit anyway.

Okay well there's a short little update. I need to go take a shower and do mad homework before work, 5-8.

I am a little sad though, but I'll save it for a rainy day...

Bored and hungry for sweets

Hey, another week is over.

Grar and right now, everyone is at home. How fun. But I'm still here in Boston, with Ben.

Greeat. I kind of wanted him to go home because my fam is coming up tomorrow night. Oh well. Hopefully he won't be here when they arrive. Hah.
Let me just say one thing. He watches sports all the fucking time ahhh. Like 24/7. How can one watch sports ALL THE TIME? The channel is never different, besides probably one of the 5 or whatever other sports channels (which by the way are all in a row, like for example 21,22,23,24,25). Yeah it's crazy. It's made me kind of hate those announcers. Bastards haha.

So right now, I'm just chilling in my room, bored. Sort of doing homework. But I know I really need to do a lot more because I definately have a lot to do. I'm just excited for tomorrow. Mainly because they're bringing me a WHOLE SHITLOAD OF FOOD. Haha, sike, that's not the main reason... hah. hah. But yeah I'm excited to see them.

So in my suite, food is a scarcity. Freakin' boys eat eeeeeverything. Our fridge is practically empty, and we don't have anything in our cupboards except Ramen noodle soup. Yeah. So the fact that they eat everything makes me hesitant about what to put out there. So when my fam comes, I'm keeping stuff in my room... yeah whatev, you can say I'm selfish, but I definately don't eat a lot at one time, which makes whatever rest of the food that I have out there a free for all. WHATEVER. I'm hungry.

Argh, oh look, I can hear them announcers now. RAWR.

Work is going well. All I'm doing is calling people asking for money. But this past Wednesday night was not a really good day for me, or anybody else. I got hung up on multiple times, a bunch of No s to pledges and only one unsure unspecified pledge. And a whole bunch of wrong numbers. That's always fun. But yeah all in all it's not that bad, which I'm glad about and what I was hoping for in the beginning.

I want to work in a hospital for when I go home in the summer. I'm going to apply to CVS again, and hopefully their SHARTY application system is fixed. So if I don't work at CVS, I think I want to work in a hospital. Because I'll have a car (hopefully) by then. Which, actually broadens my horizon. Hmm. So then if CVS won't take me, I can try Walgreens. It's not that far. But yeah, I really want to work. To make money for books and other expenses. Damn, why is the world run by money. B/c this past semester I spent over 700 bucks on books. That's a whole lot of money, let me tell you.

Okay, we'll I need to pee again, and I need to get back to work. So I'll write again soon. Probably next weekend when I have free time again. Fun.

OH and let me add that I'm always the one fuckin' cleaning and washing the dishes. It's annoying. I'm not doing it anymore. The sink and floor and bathroom can get as sharty as they want. After my rents leave, I'm not doing anything anymore. I don't even use 1/4 of those dishes, and there's only 4 people here. So yeah, fuck the dishes and the floor and toilet and whatever, I'm cleaning what I use. Gah. Hah I sound like a bitch but the situation may be a bit more than what you see.

I am so tired.

This week has been unbelievingly tiring. Two exams, work, meetings, extra-curriculars, plus my paper (which actually got an extension for the whole class until saturday at 5pm... but i want to get it done now... it shouldve been done a long time ago.)

So just to give you an idea of what my week was like, let me show you what I had as my away message everyday... and mind you, I woke up at 6:15am and went to bed at like 2pm everyday... and inbetween classes was studying or doing something or library...

And I really am tired. Like physically and mentally. Today I have been yawning like every 5 minutes... blah.
At least this first 2nd year hell week is over...

Until next time.

Saturday, September 23, 2006

So tired..

And I mean physically tired. Gah. So yesterday, I went to the Body Worlds 2 Exhibit at the Museum of Science and it was A-MAZING. I can't believe how they did it, it was truly wondrous, and though-provoking, and DEFINATELY one that you would have to experience yourself. I bought 3 postcards with some of the images, so if you want to see it, I could send it to you. I don't want to put it on here just because I don't know if I'm allowed, lol. I even took some illegal pictures w/ my cell phone... but yeah. Ask me and I'll send some of those to you too. ;D

So yesterday, I also go to Best Buy and get the Palm Z22. It's a great little thing. It's already chock-full-o'-events and appointments and classes and everything else. Gah. Like I said, if I can survive this upcoming week as well as the following week, it'll show that I can survive the year. So much stuff, it's crazy. And as you can see I have my abercrombie&fitch background on it... haha.

So today I had training for the phonathon. Oh man, I'm going to have to practice and read up on the information. Thankfully, I don't have to work tomorrow since everybody came today. So I start on Tuesday night. Yes job. Holler. Gah, but need to work on my skills.

Afterwards I studied Orgo w/ Brigitte. And now I'm eating Chicken & Dumplings. Good shit. So I have to go and finish doing everything else. Econ quiz, orgo lab, micro prelab, physics prelab, finish Iliad, Iliad paper, etc,etc,etc,etc.............

INSTEAD OF BEING AT HOME CELEBRATING NETTE'S 21st... GAH.

HAPPY 21st NETTE! LOVE YOU!!!
<3

wadda wadda

So gah, this day was alright. I slept in a little because I didn't have class until 11am. So I go to class and everything, but effin' Microbiology is like the only class I doze off in. I have like a billion micro sleeps in that class, and Rachelle needs to tap me, gah. So yeah I get through Micro, and have my break. Then World Lit which was a good class, I talked muchly haha. I told you I'd fare well on Thursday.

But then fucking Orgo Lab. GAH. My TA sucks, he didn't know anything. It was ridiculous.

So yeah I got through it though.

So I just watched Grey's Anatomy, the season premiere. Good shit.

And right now I'm watching the series premiere of Six Degrees.

But for real, if I survive next week, it'll show that I'll be able to make it. I have 2 exams, a paper due, I start work, CoF Chorus, CoF Orchestra, meetings, and bake sales, etc. A LOT of stuff going on. So I hope I make it. I'm getting the Palm Z22 tomorrow. I asked my mom for it for my Christmas present. I believe it'll help me organize myself and everything.

So laaaaaaaaaater...

What a nice day today

Today was a nice day. Let's see, I woke up at 6:15 and went and did my laundry while everyone else was asleep still. Then I was reading and stuff for World Literature. Then I had Microbiology, where I was kind of falling asleep. Jeez, I think I have some disorder or I'm conditioned or something because whenever somebody starts talking its like SLEEP MODE ON. However, I've noticed that it only happens in big lecture halls. Hmm. Maybe I should've switched into the smaller section, huh? Oh well. Well we had a pop quiz in Micro but luckily I watch the news, and it was on the recall of Spinach because of E. Coli. But there was also a question which I really wasn't sure about... hmm. O well, it was only 3 questions and multiple choice. Whatev.

After that I had a little break, so I went and ate lunch with . Then I had World Literature, in which I barely talked. I really just need to read the whole book again. I get it but things from the book don't just come to me that fast. Sorry Gorman. I'll fare better on Thursday.

So after that, I go to the bookstore to see if they have the new iPods yet, because I want one... but that doesn't mean I'm going to get it because it's lots of money and I don't have any... but anyway I run into Jeness and I go and drop a letter off in the mail and then head to Back Bay Manor with her to get her stuff from her NU friend's apartment. On the way, we run into some people asking where a place was, and they were foreign, and I did my best to direct them. So I was excited and happy about that haha.

After I head to the bookstore and look around and stuff. They don't have the new iPods yet because they would have Jack Sparrow on the front... so as I'm looking around I finally get around to calling home. I talk with my mom the whole time there and I end up buying an MCPHS shot glass. Lovely. My first shot glass, haha.

So now, I'm about to go study hardcore, since, let's see... on Friday I'm going to the Body Worlds 2 Exhibit, since I didn't get to go for free yesterday, (but had lots of fun at chorus w/ Sharon, who I'm glad likes it :) ), and then on Saturday I have training from 9-2(?) for the Alumni Student Caller Program... a job. Yes. Then on Sunday, I believe it'll be the first day on the job for me for that. Then on Monday I have my first big Orgo exam. Hurrah. Which means I need to study hardcore now. Then next Thursday I have a 4-pg paper on the Iliad due, and the same day is my first big Micro exam. Fun fun. So yeah, the rest of this week needs to be focused.

As my horoscope said today (which I like to follow now because it gives me something to look forward to, etc. nothing big), something about being focus - making decisions today can result in problematic events tomorrow, but smart decisions will reward in the weeks to come." Haha it was something like that.

:\... GAH

Well, if anyone read the entry before (b/c I don't exactly know who reads this and whatnot... I guess I was expecting more feedback from that last entry...) but anyway, I guess I was all wrong about the guy situation. That day was like the first and last time I talked to them. It was just whatever then. And I guess after they saw my pictures they were like "ew he's ugly and fat... bye." So yeah. I don't know. I guess I need to get over the whole "me not approaching them, but waiting for them to come to me" thing. 'Cause if I don't make a move, no one will...

Entry before hardcore reading and homework...

...because if I want to watch Project Runway tonight, I need to be productive now. I've noticed that that is how many kids work here... they actually do there homework and everything and come nighttime its party central. And they do good in school. Yeah.

Well, from the last entry, I did end up going to a party on Friday night. It was fun, didn't have too much to drink because 1) I didn't really want to get smashed at a place deep in Mission Main. It's like the Gardens, except it looks like better housing, but the people are worse. So yeah I just had a couple of jungle juices and then some cups of beer and that was it. I was home by 12, with Jason, my other roommy (the freshman), and we had the munchies, so we had Hot-Pockets, and chips and dip. YUMMO. So that was my weekend, because I ended up staying in on Saturday and catching up on work. And then on Sunday, I went to Collegefest with Brit, Hil, and Raquel. It was fun, but wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be. I didn't get as much stuff as I wanted to, I dunno why. Whatever. I think my friends and I up here and kind of drifting apart. Hmm.

On the other hand, school is alright. I still need to get organized and get my priorities straight and really really focus. Otherwise I will fall. And hard.

I haven't done my first laundry yet, haven't really had the need to. Um, what else.

Chorus started. And I've recruited two other people to join, so yay me! However!... The jackass roommate is back. And he decided to sit next to me (basically b/c there's only 4 tenors... wait scratch that, 3, because when he sings, its like a catdogmousegiraffe dying or something... ugh). So yeah he's really bad, and I have no care for him. However, I will talk to him if he talks to me. BUT I do NOT want to have any other interaction with him, simply because I hate the way he acts. It's ridiculous. So whatever. Hopefully he'll drop out of it again. Please, God.

Another update, which is weird, and I hope I don't weird anybody else out either, is that there have been like guys IMing me, who are, what's that? interested in ME? ((yeah I'm on a website where you can have up a profile and whatever, and so other guys can see)) so yeah. It feels so weird for other guys to be like interested in me, to actually think I was attractive and/or cute. Like I'll see other guys who I might be interested in, but won't contact them because I guess I fear rejection and I feel like I wouldn't be good enough for anyone. I know it sounds bad, but I'm trying to change that. I guess it does tie into my feelings about my appearance. I'm on the road to "betterment" though, which is making me feel good. And its been like these past two days like 4 guys IMed me, and we talked and everything. However, that's all that we've done, is talk. I'm going to take it slow, because I am still sort of new to this whole scene... I just want to feel like what it is to be in love...

Well, theres an update for now... I'm going to go do homework/read tons of stuff if I want to go watch Project Runway down the hall. So yeah, there's my reward. I need incentives.

Comments on my guy situation? or anything? I miss everyone... my phone has been basically silent since I got here... No more sexyback blaring every two seconds.

Which reminds me really quick... FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS is SUCH a good album! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Great songs! Go pick it up!

And also, has anybody ever seen that Liberty Mutual Commercial where people see each other do good things and then its like a chain reaction? I love that commercial... it makes me smile and feel good. It makes me happy, even though it is only a commercial, that people can still be kind and stuff. I love it. AND the song playing during the whole thing? It's called Half Acre by Hem. I got their album Rabbit Songs on iTunes. Let me just tell you, gooooood purchase. Mellow, and good study music.

Okay it's already past five... later.

WOWee

It's amazing how much people party, smoke, smoke pot, and drink and stuff of that nature. It's so crazy. I don't know how some people do it. I don't know how a lot of people can just go out all the time and whatever. It's only the beginning of the semester and I really need to do well and I don't want to do anything that'll eff it up, you know? I don't know. Obviously I'm not one to go out and do all that stuff all the time. I'm not really like that and nor are my friends. But my roommates and stuff, whatev. Makes me feel like a dork. But then again, nothing wrong with being a dork huh. And it sucks too since like all my friends live elsewhere. We're all separated and we don't see each other as much anymore. Barely at all, just at classes and stuff. Oh well. Damn it, and I want to meet some guys.

I guess I'm just always hesitant on making decisions on whether or not to go. Gah. And from what I hear, a lot of these events are just crappy.
